Court!

We met today with our lawyer and it seems we are in a good court. She said that Nicolas' Birth Certificate is going to be a little harder to get, so she thinks by Tuesday at the latest we should be done and going to Bogota. There, we will have a few items to accomplish, maybe a few days.
The process has been interesting, but I am ready to be home and see what life looks like in our routine.

Tonight we went to the Mexican Restaurant down the street. The kids did pretty well. They may be the slowest service in a Mexican joint on the planet, though. When we left there, the kids had to go "chi chi." We wanted to stop for ice cream at the store anyway, so we looked the bano there. Diana had to come up with the pesos for her bathroom though. After that, we stopped to say good night at the shoe store (we have to stop there every time we pass by) only to find that Mary had put Nicolas' shoes on the wrong foot! We both said "What kind of parents are we?"

Been following along and enjoying the posts and photos. It does all sound pretty normal, even with the shoes on the wrong feet! I will continue with my prayers and positive thoughts for a speedy court and for all of you as you grow together as a family.

If I don't check our girls' feet before we leave to go anywhere, we are likely to later discover that at least one of them has their shoes on the wrong feet!
